How to Calculate EKSU Aggregate Score?

Your JAMB score is very essential, and so is your Post UTME screening score. EKSU has a grading system where your aggregate score is calculated at the end of your screening.

Here is how:

  • Step 1: Divide your JAMB score by 8
  • Step 2: Divide your Post UTME screening exercise score by 2
  • Step 3: Your O’level result carries 30% of your aggregate mark
  • Step 4: Add your JAMB and Post UTME screening exercise score

Now, your total score is your aggregate score.

For Example:

If you scored 240 in your JAMB, divide it by 8 and you will get 30.

And let’s assume you scored 70 in your Post UTME screening exercise, you will have to Divide it by 2, which is 35.

Now, add your JAMB and Post UTME score together. You will get 30+35=65.

65 is your aggregate score and depending on your course of study, 65 is a very good score.

Conclusion

Having a good score is not the end, ensure you meet all other requirements and try to stay up-to-date on all the developments regarding the admission exercise.

If your school is below 140, do not worry. There are many other institutions such as Polytechnics that accept 140. If you are not interested in any of them, then you can start preparing for another jamb now. The earlier you start your preparation, the better.
